Shirley Waldron resides in Vermont.
Originally from the Catskill Mt. area, she majored in Fine Arts with a concentration in Design both at Syracuse and Buffalo Universities.
Shirley creates her pieces from beads of all colors and varieties using many different techniques to weave them into an original design.
She also forms "art beads" using pure silver clay which is then fired in a computerized kiln.
These distinct sculptured beads are interwoven into a piece or can stand alone as an original.
Whatever the end-piece is, the concept is original and one of a kind due to Shirley's insistence in adhering to her great passion to create the unusual.
